You may remember CLD’s newsletter Yifeng (译风), but did you know we are turning it (back) to a blog? This change will allow us to publish timely pieces in an accessible format and gauge our members’ interest to better serve and connect with you.
We are looking for volunteer editor-in-chief and editors to join the new Yifeng Committee. We would like to publish a longer original article at least once every two months and short, informational ones in between. The articles can be in English or Chinese.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Discover new skills: organization, communication, and judgment
- Meet like-minded colleagues
- Inspire people
- Learn “diplomatic-speak” and work with different opinions
- Overcome your triggers
- Learn about yourself
(Bullet points inspired by David Rumsey’s 2020 ATA Leadership Training presentation: Ego Management: The Good, the Bad & the Ugly)
