What’s it like to be a translator helping English-speaking creatives pen authentic Mandarin dialogues for actors to perform on screen? What does it take to be a language coach during filming? The speaker will discuss the process involved before and during the TV script translation and share examples of linguistic solutions that preserve the screenwriters’ creativity. Attendees will learn how to prepare themselves for the next Hollywood production-related inquiries and demonstrate the true value of a professional translator.
