Despite GLD members\u2019 far-flung locations, we get together whenever we can. The ATA Annual Conference, with a dedicated GLD social event, as well as the GLD Members in Europe Workshop provide members with the opportunity for face-to-face networking and education. To maintain contact between on-site events, our Digital Events Coordinators arrange for Digital Socials and GLD webinars. ATA membership allows members to attend many international T&I-related events at a discount. The GLD holds multiple in-person events throughout the year, including annual GLD Members in Europe workshops, as well as other in-person meetups in various places around the US and Germany.<\/p>\n

GLD Member Meetings<\/h3>\n

Like all other ATA divisions, the Leadership Council of the GLD invites all members to a Virtual Annual Meeting to inform them of the past year's activities, discuss issues relevant to our profession, and obtain feedback from the membership.<\/p>\n

GLD Calendar<\/h3>\n

The GLD Calendar of translation and interpreting events compiles industry events around the world that may be of interest to translators and interpreters working in the German-English language pair. You can add all the events to your Google Calendar by clicking on the plus sign.<\/p>\n
