The annual GLD Members in Europe Workshop has been going on for over a decade, establishing itself as a great CPD bargain, and this year\u2019s workshop\u2014our 11th\u2014promises to be just that as GLD members meet to share their own expertise and talk about the ABCs of Old School Success<\/strong>: A<\/strong><\/span> as in Adaptation<\/strong> (including to modern technology!), B<\/strong><\/span> as in Business Acumen<\/strong>, and C<\/strong><\/span> as in Creativity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be meeting in Fulda<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u2019s historic Frauenberg monastery<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, which has been converted into a modern conference center. As always, the weekend kicks off with a walking tour of the city and a networking dinner at a local restaurant\u2014an ideal way to reconnect with old friends and meet new colleagues. Then we\u2019ll get down to business on Saturday and Sunday, with a program<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that covers a wide array of topics from pricing strategies and positioning ourselves in the market to translation tips and exercises!<\/p>\n

The registration fee includes not only the coffee breaks but both the midday and evening meal on Saturday, which we\u2019ll enjoy before meeting up for a virtual book club to discuss AI Resilient: How Freelancers and Entrepreneurs Can Thrive, Charge More, and Stay Irreplaceable in the Age of AI<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> with author Joachim L\u00e9pine.<\/p>\n

The GLD Members in Europe Workshop is open to\u00a0ATA members only<\/strong>. The organizers reserve the right to cancel your registration if you are not a current ATA member.<\/p>\n
