As many of you may already know, the ATA Board has voted to raise the registration fee for the Certification Exam from $300 to $525, effective January 1, 2019. While the board acknowledges this is a significant increase, it is necessary to keep up with the costs involved in realizing the exam. You can read more about the association’s finances on the Treasurer’s Reports published on the ATA website (members only).
The good news is that there is time to plan accordingly if you are interested in taking it. The ATA is making every effort to add as many extra sittings as possible. In addition to more dates in Alexandria, there will be at least three sittings during this year’s conference in New Orleans. If you live in Brazil, you may also want to consider registering for the exam in São Paulo, which will be taking place on June 9, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Click here for more details on upcoming exam sittings.
I didn’t see an exam in São Paulo scheduled in 2019. Is this really going to happen? Thanks/Obrigado!
Hi Leandro. International sittings don’t take place every year. Check out the upcoming sittings at https://www.atanet.org/certification/upcoming_exam_sittings.php

I see…
When will the next upcoming International sittings take place?
Thanks before hand.
