ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Bruna Marchi
Partner, Uncomplicating Legal English
Bruna Marchi is a Brazilian lawyer, specialist in legal English as a foreign language, founding partner and pedagogical director at Descomplicando o Inglês Jurídico. Operating out of her native Brazil, Bruna is a lawyer with a postgraduate qualification in English<>Portuguese conference interpreting from the Catholic University of Sao Paulo. She has a university extension course qualification in American law from Fordham University. This course is designed specifically for foreign-trained attorneys. She also has a graduate degree in criminal law and criminal procedure law. As a founding partner at Descomplicando o Inglês Jurídico, she is also the creator of Descomplicando o Inglês Jurídico’s YouTube channel and teaches legal English as a foreign language, and comparative law. In addition, she develops courses in legal English as a foreign language for judges and prosecutors in Brazil at the Educere Institute in Brasília and is a professor in the legal English university extension course at the Catholic University of Sao Paulo.
