Lebzy González, PhD, CT is a freelance translator and scientist specializing in materials science and engineering. A native of Puerto Rico, she has lived in the continental United States for over 25 years and has traveled independently to over 70 countries. Lebzy is a member of the New England Translators Association and a certified member of the ATA (Spanish into English). She holds a PhD in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from The University of Michigan and an SB in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Prior to her translation career, Lebzy researched and developed new materials in academia and industry for 16 years. She has authored 20 publications, delivered invited presentations at 7 international conferences, and written successful funding proposals for projects totaling $3.3 million in revenue.
