We’re excited to continue our tradition of a conference get-together filled with good food and great company!
Enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow science and technology linguists in a semi-private setting. A buffet-style taco bar, dessert selections, and non-alcoholic drinks are included with your meal, but—as the name suggests—Democracy Brewing offers a wide selection of craft beers and other drinks available for purchase.
Come hungry, bring a colleague, and let’s celebrate our vibrant community!
Please note that depending on the number of guests, not everyone may have a seat, but we’ll have plenty of high-top tables for mingling and conversation.

Cost for the meal is $55.00, which includes taco bar, a variety of desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, and gratuity.

IMPORTANT: Please use the “For friends and family” option at checkout to avoid transaction fees and trouble for the organizers!
Also, PayPal charges additional fees if you use a debit or credit card instead of a linked bank account or PayPal balance, or if your PayPal account is not US-based. If you would rather use another payment method such as a US check or Venmo please contact S&TD webmaster Carola Berger.
Our event space is limited to 25 guests and reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Payment must be received by October 16th, 2025. Cancellations will be accepted until October 16th, and you will receive a refund of your payment minus any PayPal fees.
