The Science & Technology Division is offering a great opportunity for translation or interpreting students (or recent graduates) to prepare a poster presentation display on a research-based or praxis-based topic.
A poster presentation is a display of information on a poster board (24” x 36” laminated) about one or more key topics related to translation, interpreting, localization, linguistics, or associated technologies. Selected students will display their research poster during the ATA65 Welcome Reception on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in Portland, OR.

As an extra bonus, we will host the selected student(s) at our division dinner in Portland on Friday, November 1!
Interested? Here’s what to do:
- Read our 2022 article Poster Presentation at the ATA Conference and the current Conference Poster Guidelines on the S&TD website.
- Write an abstract of your research. Your abstract should be brief (200 words maximum) and emphasize the most important points of your research.
- Submit your abstract and current resume/CV to Mery Molenaar, S&TD Administrator, by September 15, 2024! We will make a selection by September 20.
