The ATA Language Standards Survey closes Wednesday, December 14. If you haven’t taken the survey yet, do it now! Last week’s ATA email invitation is included below.
In 2011 efforts to bring standards to the translation and localization industries gained important momentum. The standardization process has now moved from concept to development.
Much of the work has been done by individuals working in localization. There is a critical shortage of information from translators: what new standards are needed and how translators will benefit from standards are two of the biggest questions to answer.
This is your chance to ensure that the translation industry is represented in the future development of language standards. The short survey linked below is designed to gauge the awareness and interest of translators in the standardization initiative. We anticipate you can finish the survey in 10 minutes or less. The survey will close December 14.
Your participation is appreciated.
